Description: split colloid mill is a wet superfine powder grinder. The grain pulverized by this mill is fine and homogenous. The components touching the material are made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials. Our colloid mill has many features including occupying a small floor area, producing low noise, having complete functions and high efficiency. It is therefore, widely used in the food, chemistry, textile, architecture, pharmaceuticals, papermaking and other industries.

Working PrincipleA colloid mill reduces the particle size of a solid by applying shearing, grinding and high speed mixing. Grinding is accomplished by the relative motion of two tooth profile inclines (one rotating at a high speed, the other being still). Materials between the tooth profile inclines are effectively dispersed, pulverized and homogenized under high levels of shearing force, friction, high-frequency vibration and other forces.

 

Structure Depending on different structural features, a colloid mill can categorized as vertical colloid mill and horizontal colloid mill. The mill mainly consists of grinding head parts, drive components, electric motor, stator, rotor, and cooling device etc. The parts that are exposed to the materials are made of high-grade stainless steel that is corrosion-resistant and innocuous. Dynamic disc and stable disc are key parts of this machine. There are different physical properties; discs differ in tooth form, but all made of stainless steel. Motor is specially designed according to the requirement of the colloid mill, and flange cover is fitted to prevent leakage.
